Marquadt suspended, fired from UFC

Ok..The question is this. What type of medical condition could cause Nate to not make his fight on Sunday? It was something they knew about 6 weeks ago and yet didn't get cleared up prior to the fight?

 

Could it be an injury? A failed drug test? The whole thing seems really strange. Hopefully Nate will make a statement at some point to clear this up. He always seemed like a great local fighter on the media here.

 

Given his limited options, could he end up on a local shark fights card?

I guess it was TRT. I dont know too much about it or how you get cleared for it

He says he had an elevated level of testorone, related to a dr's prescription, and his level didn't drop until Sunday after he was removed from the card for failing the test on Friday.

 

The question is what else is there to this? Didn't Chael Sonnen test positive for steriods, was suspended for a year but he wasn't dropped from the UFC?
